Color Grading Portfolio

My name is Sam Bogstedt, from Stockholm, Sweden. Moved to the Netherlands in 2019 with my family, and went to The American School of The Hague and graduated in 2021. Shortly after I took a semester abroad where I studied filmmaking & screenwriting in Florence, Italy. I started at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam where I am still attending. My focus is in Film Editing & Cinematography but I like to engage in many disciplines in film.

What I am looking for most in a project is its value to bring something important to an audience. The importance that a project makes me see a subject in a different way. Approaching things in unconventional ways, more interesting ways is what drives me. Absurd imagery that tells the story in new perspectives is what inspires me in how to tell authentic stories that feel refreshing and interesting.

I’m in my third year of Audio Visual Design, and now I am joining New West as an Intern for the next 6 months. Where I will be focusing on concept development, camera work, color grading & editing. Currently I am working as an Intern at New West in Rotterdam doing color grading, editing and camera work.
